The restrictions will apply to\ncafes and bars located on the first floors of residential buildings. The area\nof the service hall in such institutions must be at least 20 square meters. In\naddition, the regions are given the right to impose additional\nrestrictions.&nbsp; For example, to tighten\nthe requirements for the minimum floor space or even completely prohibit the\nretail sale of alcoholic beverages in such rooms.&nbsp; On May 5 of this year, the law comes into\nforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Federal Project\n&#8220;Sober Russia&#8221; and MCBA \u201cBureau of Lawyers \u201cDe jure\u201d initiated the\nadoption of the Law more than five years ago. &#8220;In the framework of\ncooperation with the Head of &#8220;Sober Russia&#8221; Sultan Khamzaev, our \u201cBureau\nof Lawyers\u201d has been providing methodological and consulting support for this\ndraft law all this time. A lot of effort was spent on overcoming the opposition\nof the alcohol lobby,&#8221;- says Nikita Filippov, Head of MCBA \u201cBureau of\nLawyers \u201cDe jure\u201d.
