The Principal\nof MCBA \u201cBureau of Lawyers \u201cDe Jure\u201d was accused of committing a crime under\nPart 2 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal\npossession of drugs without the purpose of selling, committed on a large\nscale). The sanction of this article provides for a punishment in the form of\nimprisonment for a term of 3 to 10 years. As a result of the correctly chosen\nstrategy, the court of first instance imposed a minimum sentence – in the form\nof 3 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony. The court of appeal for criminal cases of the\nKrasnodar Regional Court upheld the verdict. Based on the results of the\nconsideration of the cassation appeal of a lawyer of MCBA \u201cBureau of Lawyers\n\u201cDe Jure\u201d by the Fourth Court of Cassation of General Jurisdiction, the\ncriminal case was returned to the court of first instance for a new examination,\nwhile the measure of restraint for the client was changed to not leave the\nplace and proper behavior. Upon a new examination, the court of first instance\nsentenced the client of MCBA \u201cBureau of Lawyers \u201cDe Jure\u201d in the form of 8\nmonths in prison and, taking into account the time spent in custody, released\nhim from custody in the courtroom.
