The VI Russian Billiards tournament among lawyers for the Cup of MCBA “Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”–2019 became the most representative in the entire history.

On December 7-8, the VI Annual International Russian Billiards Tournament among lawyers for the Cup of MCBA “Bureau of Lawyers “De jure” – 2019, was held at the “Legenda” Billiard Club. It was attended by 46 lawyers from 14 regions of Russia and 1 lawyer from a neighboring country. Thus, the competition became the most representative in the history of their conduct.

The competition was held on a double grid for 64 participants with Olimpic from 1/16 – the Olympic standard system for billiard sports. Vladimir Ovsyannikov from Chamber of Lawyers of the Kirov region celebrated the victory in the final. Sergey Kapitonov from Chamber of Lawyers of the Moscow region won a silver medal, and Vladimir Krasov (Chamber of Lawyers of Moscow) won a bronze medal.

“I am very happy that our tournament had aroused such great interest, “said Nikita Filippov, Head of MCBA “Bureau of Lawyers “De jure” and chief organizer of the event. “The audience saw a beautiful, attacking game and an exciting final, in which two very strong players with good technique and great game experience fought.”

Lawyers who had lost in the main tournament traditionally competed on the second day. Sergey Lisin (Chamber of Lawyers of Moscow) and Alexander Hayrapetyan (national Team of Chamber of Lawyers of the Samara region) met in the final of the additional “Cup of MCBA “Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”–2019.  With an advantage of just one ball, scored in extra time, Alexander Hayrapetyan became the winner, and his opponent won the prize for the longest series (8 balls with a cue).

Participants and spectators noted the surprisingly friendly atmosphere of the event, which did not interfere with the sporting spirit: “Once again, we were able to plunge into a friendly, cozy, relaxed, with a share of excitement, pleasant atmosphere. We were very pleased that the number of participants increases every year. There is an opportunity to meet and chat with both new to me, and already well-known people. It should be noted that the level of play of colleagues who took part in the tournament last year had significantly increased, all without exception!”- Dmitry Martynov (Chamber of Lawyers of the Samara region) wrote after the tournament.

The tournament’s special prizes were awarded to Viktor Martynov (Chamber of Lawyers of the Samara region) and Alexander Kotov (Chamber of Lawyers of the Kemerovo region). Erlandbek Toktosunov, representative of Kyrgyzstan, Kristina Gnatyuk (Chamber of Lawyers of Moscow) and Victoria Porubinovskaya (Chamber of Lawyers of the Moscow region) received the audience’s prizes.
