The Second Court of Cassation of General Jurisdiction refused to satisfy the cassation appeal of the procedural opponent of MCBA “Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”, recognizing the Bureau’s arguments that there were no grounds to recover losses in the amount of more than 30 million rubles from the Principal of the Bureau. The interests of the Principal were defended by Rashid Gitinov, head of the practice of resolving disputes with state bodies of MCBA “Bureau of Lawyers “De Jure”.

The Arbitration Court of the Moscow District left unchanged the decision of the court of first instance on the recovery in favor of the Client of the Bureau of interest on the loan and penalties from the borrower in the amount of 25 million rubles. The court saw no reason to reduce the amount of interest, including those related to the spread of coronavirus infection. The interests of the Client of the Bureau were represented by Sergey Bibikov, senior lawyer of MCBA “Bureau of Lawyers “De Jure”.
