The Moscow City Court, within the framework of a criminal case initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, agreed with the arguments of the defense, Konstantin Frolov, lawyer of MCBA “Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”, that there were significant procedural violations committed when issuing a decision of the court of first instance on the election of a preventive measure against the accused, and it changed the said resolution, reducing the period of detention.
