A round table “Russian-Chinese vector of rapprochement: legal aspects” was held at the site of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation. The event was attended by the heads and employees of the Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”, the Beijing Law Firm DHH and the Russian-Asian Union of Entrepreneurs and Industrialists, representatives of the Office of the Commissioner under the President of the Russian Federation for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs, representatives of the Russian-Chinese Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development, expert and business community, as well as representatives of the scientific community.
The main objective of the event was to discuss such topical issues for Russian business as registration of a legal presence in China, the choice of a partner in China and locations for registration, registration procedures, customs procedures, as well as measures that allow not losing control over the company and investments and protect their intellectual property.
The round table also touched upon topical issues of participation of Chinese investors in Russian business: the conditions and nuances of doing business in Russia, forms of cooperation, including public-private partnerships, legal instruments that establish various types of guarantees for foreign investors, as well as the specifics of doing business under sanctions in Russia.
The speakers of the event were Liu Kejiang, Head of the Beijing Law Firm DHH, Han Yixue, DHH Counsel, Cui Chunhua, DHH Associate Partner, Luo Lan, DHH Counsel, and Nikita Filippov, Head of the Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”.
Earlier, within the framework of the 10th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, a trilateral cooperation agreement was signed between DHH, the Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”. The Russian-Chinese Legal Alliance is a sign of reliable and fruitful cooperation between the two countries, aimed at developing Russian-Chinese relations in the legal field.
