We love to stay on trend, so we are happy to prepare a separate post summing up the results of 2024, which turned out to be rich in important events.
The First Court of Cassation of General Jurisdiction annulled the judicial acts of lower instances regarding the refusal to satisfy the claims of our Principal for the recovery of funds unjustifiably saved after the sale of real estate. The Bureau of Lawyers “De jure” managed to convince the court that the Defendant, acting in the interests of the owner of the property on the basis of a power of attorney, after the sale of real estate unreasonably appropriated the funds received from the sale, and that the courts of lower instances improperly investigated all the circumstances of the case in this part. In connection with these circumstances, the case was sent for a new trial to the appellate instance. The Principal’s interests were represented by Nikita Filippov, Head of the Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”, the legal position on the case was prepared by Sergey Bibikov, senior lawyer of the Bureau.
