The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow dismissed the claim against the Principal for invalidating the contracts of the author’s order for the staging of a number of world-famous performances. Previously, the Plaintiffs had already applied to other courts with demands to recognize the disputed contracts as not concluded, as well as to provide reports on the use of the results of intellectual activity, but all their demands were denied. The problem was that part of the originals of the disputed contracts was not preserved by either the Plaintiff or the Defendant. Despite this, within the framework of this dispute, it was also possible to convince the court of the groundlessness of the stated claims of the opponents and the existence of objective grounds for refusing to satisfy the claim. This was facilitated by the fact that the author received payment under these contracts and the absence of his objections for decades. The interests of the Principal were represented by Nikita Filippov, Head of the Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”.
