Nikita Filippov, Head of the Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”, took part in the Nevsky Construction Forum and made a presentation on the topic “Smart Contracts. Digitization of the construction industry. Legal aspect”. During his speech, Nikita Filippov spoke about what smart contracts are, what their advantages and disadvantages are, how they can be used in the construction industry, as well as about the existing judicial practice as regards to them. During his speech, Nikita Filippov also touched upon the topic of litigation in relation to BIM modeling, noting their significant growth and the need for comprehensive legal support for such contracts in order to eliminate possible litigation risks. The Nevsky Construction Forum is one of the largest events in the construction sector, where the most pressing issues of developers and manufacturers of building materials and technologies are discussed. This time the Forum program was devoted to the development of the latest information technologies in construction.
