Dear veterans! I cordially congratulate you on the great Victory day, may 9!

Great heroes forged our common Victory: those who fought at the battle front, and those who worked in the rear, those who fought in guerrilla groups … All the people of our country stood as one to fight the enemy.

On the 9th of May, we remember everyone who died, and all who returned and revived our great Homeland. We bow low to our veterans — it is a debt that can never be repaid. You are our example, we are proud of you and we try to raise our children to be like you. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you have done for our country and for the whole world, having gone through all of Europe, freeing the world from fascism.

We swear to be worthy of our grandfathers and fathers, those who saved our Homeland at the cost of their lives!

Victory day has forever become a day when our people unite, a sacred day of memory! We will do everything to ensure the dark days of the war are a thing of the past. May the sky above us be peaceful and our Russia develop and prosper!
