The Arbitration Court of Moscow considered the claims of the Department of State Property of Moscow against the Principal of MCBA “Bureau of Lawyers “De jure” for the recovery of rent arrears in the amount of almost 1 million rubles, agreed with the calculation of the Bureau and made a decision to recover from the Principal only 35 thousand rubles (the amount of debt, which was not disputed by the Principal), the rest of the claim was rejected by the court. The Principal was defended by Polina Arkannikova, senior lawyer of MCBA “Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”.
The Sixteenth Arbitration Court of Appeal dismissed the procedural opponents of MCBA “Bureau of Lawyers “De jure” in satisfying the appeal against the ruling of the first instance court to terminate the execution of the writ of execution issued by the Arbitration Court of the Stavropol Territory (interim measures). The judicial act protecting the rights of the Principal of the Bureau was upheld. The interests of the Principal were represented by Alexander Uchaikin, senior lawyer o MCBA “Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”.
Nikita Filippov, Head of MCBA “Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”, made a report at a meeting of the working group of the State Duma Committee on Natural Resources, Property and Land Relations, during which the concept of the draft law on reforming the institution of bankruptcy submitted to the State Duma was discussed. Nikita Filippov noted a number of shortcomings of the draft law, the current version of which carries a number of risks, including the risk of leaving the profession of independent arbitration managers. Based on the results of the meeting, the head of the working group and a representative of the Government proposed to the participants of the event to prepare amendments to the draft law.
