May 25 Results of the competition for the best legislative initiative among students and graduate students of law schools and faculties on improving judicial and out-of-court forms of dispute resolution

On May 25, 2022, a joint meeting of the Commission for the Analysis, Development and Improvement of Procedural and Out-of-Procedural forms of Dispute Resolution of the Association of Lawyers of Russia together with the Bureau of Lawyers “De jure” was held, at which the results of the competition for the best legislative initiative among students and graduate students of law schools and faculties on improving judicial and out-of-court forms of dispute resolution were approved. The Commission unanimously elected three winners of the competition, who presented relevant and well-founded legislative initiatives.

Also, within the framework of the joint meeting, the proposals of the Bureau of Lawyers “De jure” on optimizing the workload on judges were considered; legislative initiatives aimed at improving the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and organizations under the sanctions imposed on Russia were discussed. The proposals were supported and supplemented by the members of the commission, based on the results of the discussion, it was decided to prepare the texts of draft laws and appeal to the subjects of legislative initiative with a proposal to submit them to the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
