As a result of the well-coordinated work of lawyers of the Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”, two Principals of the Bureau managed to defend their ownership rights to the premises in the historical center of Moscow. In 2018, with respect to premises owned by the Principals, information about the exclusive property right of the Russian Federation was entered into the Unified State Register of Real Estate in parallel with the already registered property right of the Principals. At the same time, the right of operational management of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise to disputed objects belonging to the objects of cultural heritage of federal significance was registered. Having agreed with the arguments of the Bureau’s lawyers, the Moscow Arbitration Court recognized the competing right of ownership of the Russian Federation as absent, at the same time refusing to satisfy the counterclaims of the Russian Federation on the recovery of non-residential premises from the possession of the Principals and the termination of their ownership rights. The interests of both Principals were represented by Konstantin Tkachenko, Head of the practice of legal support of entrepreneurship at the Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”.
