The magistrate of court of the judicial district № 375 of the city of Moscow granted the Principal’s claim for divorce. The reason for filing such an application to the court was the spouse’s refusal from negotiations and from filing a joint application. During the consideration of the case, it was possible to convince the court of the Defendant’s abuse of her procedural rights, in particular, due to the fact that after filing a petition to provide the spouses with a period for reconciliation, the Defendant did not make a real attempt to contact the Principal and resolve the conflict situation. The court also considered the constant requests to postpone court hearings to be unfounded, and therefore proceeded to consider the case on the merits and made a decision to satisfy the claims. The interests of the Principal were represented by Ekaterina Bulygina, senior lawyer in the practice of resolving family and inheritance disputes of the Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”.
