Today, the Eighth Arbitration Court of Appeal reduced the amount of the percentage remuneration of the bankruptcy trustee of an oil refinery from an unprecedented 5.4 billion rubles to 200 million rubles. It was possible to convince the court that the manager’s contribution was not proportionate to the remuneration calculated on the basis of the Bankruptcy Law. This will allow the release of funds reserved in the debtor’s account in the amount of more than 5 billion rubles and use them to pay off the claims of creditors, including the Client of MCBA “Bureau of Lawyers “De jure”.
