By a ruling of the Moscow Arbitration Court, the proceedings on the demolition of facilities that were qualified by the authorized bodies of Moscow as unauthorized construction facilities were terminated due to the Plaintiff’s refusal of the claim.
As part of the dispute, the Bureau’s lawyers assisted in the “legalization” of the Principal’s property by contacting the Moscow Land and Urban Planning Commission. At the same time, the Bureau’s lawyers have been able to postpone the court proceedings for more than two years, despite the active objections of representatives of the City Property Department and the Moscow Government, citing the fact that an appeal to the commission in itself is not grounds for not considering the claims on the merits.
Subsequently, the trial was postponed for another 1.5 years as the decision of the Moscow Land and Urban Planning Commission was implemented.
In total, the total period of providing legal assistance to the Principal was 4.5 years.
The Principal’s interests were represented by senior lawyer Ilsur Zakirov.
